READY WHEN THEY NEED IT

WHEN the unexpected happens, your family, business partners, or employees shouldn't have to search for answers in the great big void you left.

WhenVault is the guided binder system that puts every document, account, password, and final wish your loved ones will need — in one place, in the right order, ready the day they need it.

The night the call comes, three days are gone before anyone finds the will.

When a parent or partner dies — or simply can't speak for themselves — most families spend the first week tearing through filing cabinets, email inboxes, and shoeboxes looking for things that should have been findable in five minutes.

Bank accounts. Insurance policies. The deed. The password to the phone. The funeral preferences. The name of the lawyer. By the time it surfaces, decisions have been made that can't be undone.

How WhenVault works

1 — Open the binder.

Each WhenVault arrives as a guided physical binder with clear sections inside. No login required, no subscription, no app to download.

2 — Fill it in, section by section.

The prompts walk you through everything that matters: identity, accounts, property, healthcare, digital life, final wishes. Take an evening or take a month.

3 — Tell one person where it is.

When the moment comes, your family opens the binder and finds answers — not questions.

The single adult.

You don't have a spouse to fill in the gaps. WhenVault makes sure whoever has to step in — sibling, child, friend, executor — can do it without guesswork.

The couple.

You've talked about it. Now it's written down. Two binders so each of you is documented in your own words, side by side.

The business owner.

A separate Business Continuity Binder for every entity. Your operating instructions, key contacts, banking, vendor list, succession plan — everything a partner, family member, or successor needs to keep the business running.

Common questions

Is WhenVault a subscription?

No. You buy the binder once, you own it forever. There is no app, no login, no recurring fee.

Do I need a lawyer to fill it out?

No. The prompts are written so a non-lawyer can complete every section. If you want professional review, the Free Family Wealth Planning Session certificate (included with every package, for WA residents) lets you sit down with Winkelman Law Firm.

What's the difference between a Personal Binder and a Business Continuity Binder?

The Personal Binder covers you as an individual — identity, accounts, healthcare, final wishes. The Business Continuity Binder covers one business entity — operating procedures, key contacts, banking, vendor list, succession plan. Couples need two Personal Binders. Business owners need one Business Binder per entity.
