The autopay bills keep running while the family tries to figure out where the money is. The business needs someone to step in, and nobody knows the first step.
The legal structure was sound. The practical continuity system did not exist.

The product was created by Mr. Winkelman drawing on his estate-planning practice, but the company is a separate consumer-product business.
